Theresa’s practice focuses on real estate and business transactions, with an emphasis on real estate finance. Theresa has extensive experience representing and advising financial institutions and private lenders in making loans secured by commercial real estate, national servicers with loan assumptions, loan modifications and other servicing issues, lenders originating Freddie Mac or Fannie Mae multifamily loans, developers, financial institutions, investment groups, commercial property owners, small business owners, buyers and sellers in all aspects of lodging industry transactions, tenants, landlords, and individuals with real property portfolios.
Theresa also handles purchase and sale transactions, the formation and representation of entities in real estate joint ventures, a wide range of real estate and business-related litigation matters and all aspects of real estate secured financing, including multi-state real estate portfolios, revolving credit facilities, bridge loans, mezzanine loans, and real estate workouts.
Theresa’s particular area of interest is in multifamily properties, including manufactured housing communities and affordable housing, mixed-use, retail, office, industrial and hotel properties. She previously obtained a Series 7 and Series 66 securities licenses (both are currently inactive).
