Experience

Kim, a partner at the firm, represents and advises financial institutions, real estate investors, owners/operators, asset managers, commercial lessors and lessees, public and private companies, and developers in commercial real estate transactions, ranging from a single property to multi-state portfolios and other matters involving day-to-day property operations.

Kim has extensive experience in all areas of commercial real estate law including finance, purchase and sale, and commercial leasing. Although Kim routinely handles various types of real estate matters, her main focus is on finance. Kim has significant experience representing lenders in the origination of multifamily loans that are sold to Freddie Mac or Fannie Mae, as well as matters arising during the servicing of such loans, including loan assumptions. Kim serves on the Freddie Mac Multifamily Legal Advisory Council.

Kim’s particular area of interest and expertise is in multifamily properties, affordable housing, and senior housing communities of all types, including independent living, assisted living, memory care/Alzheimer’s care, skilled nursing, active adult/55+, and continuing care retirement communities (CCRCs). In addition, Kim also has substantial experience with other property types, such as mixed-use, retail, office, industrial, hotel and undeveloped land.
